I've always toyed with how I would get in the adult business, you know. I actually read the article on Tera Patrick in Front Magazine and I was like, hmmm. So I went to her website, it said she worked for Digital Playground. I just read some of the interesting stuff about her and it seemed cool so I really wanted to check it out. I just called Digital Playground out of the blue one day and a few days later I was a contract girl.

Wait... You called up Digital Playground and were like "Hi, I want to be a porn star" and that was it?

I called them up to ask how I would go about doing it. They saw some pictures of me at the Hawaiian Tropics contest and they flew me out here. I looked at all the stuff they did, their videos, and they said 'is this a company you think you want to work for? Do you like our stuff?' And I said yes.

When I flew out here, I was here for two days and I signed a contract.

How do your folks or your friends feel about you being in this industry?

My friends love it. Actually you know what's so funny; one of my ultra conservative friends saw Family Business and I don't know how she didn't know this about me, but she called me and she said, "I saw you on Showtime." I was like, "Yeah, you like it?" She's like, "Yeah you looked really good." She's like "You were with a girl." I was like, "Yes I was." She's like, "I didn't know you were into that." I was like, "Honey I did that before I was in the business." She said, "Oh, well you looked good." It was so funny. My friends from Oklahoma called me, they all love it. My ex husband's shocked. He's like, "Oh my God, you're a porn star?"

It was his decision. He really messed up. But my family, they are supportive of me. They obviously are not supportive of the career I've chosen. But, they know that I'm smart about what I do and everything and I'm not going to put myself in any situation that's going to harm me.

Exactly. My mom just came for a visit and I showed her that what I did is different than the other porno stuff like gonzo. She feels much better about what I do now. You know, I lived in San Antonio for six months when I was five. I still have family out there that I visit. I used to go back for the Folk Life Festival. It's the only place I could square dance and not be made fun of.

I've squared dance a few times myself. I helped out at a square dance for Christmas at a retirement home when I worked for Hooters. I've done it but I can't say I'm an expert. Any other dance I'm pretty good at.

The Sooners are awesome. In fact the day I moved here was the day of the Rose Bowl, and the Sooners were playing against Washington and we kicked ass! I didn't have tickets, I didn't know where the Rose Bowl was, but I found it, I got tickets and I was right there on the field.

How did you pull that off to get those tickets?

Let's just say I was determined to get in.

Good answers, but let's get back to porn. Even before your first movie is released you were signing autographs, like at Adult Expo and you've already been characterized as an adult star in the Showtime hit series, Family Business. How does all of this make you feel?

It's all been one great adventure so far. I love the people I work with and everyone's been so nice to me. I would however like to thank the people at Showtime because it was just great publicity and all I did was walk around Adult Expo.
